A long-term relationship that leads to a common goal: harnessing technical capabilities and combining them with the land to achieve a unique product.
Brasserie Cap D’Ona was founded in 1998 by Gregor Engler and Élodie Pujol, a strong and determined couple who have been able to take root in the area in which they are located. Based in Ceret, in the southwest France, Brasserie Cap D’Ona is a a well-known and award-winning French brewery, characterized by its “Esprit”: excellence, creativity, authenticity and ecological responsibility.
Thanks to their agricultural and brewing origins, Gregor and Élodie were driven by a define desire to combine knowledges and skills to achieve a great product that defends their territory and land.
Their main products are closely related to the land: they produce regular beer and beer with fruits directly from the surroundings. Other products, such as juices and spirits, are also in their production plans.
Their ecological commitment is what prompted them to invest in improving building and equipment to save energy and respect the environment. All new investments in facilities are made with a focus on reducing waste and water and energy consumption, also aiming at renewable sources.
The equipment chosen for brewing are a 50 hl brewhouse, fully automatic, complete by several fermentation tanks. Over the years, a tunnel pasteurizer, a flash pasteurizer and also a crossflow filter have been added to the production line.
The 25-year relationship with Easybräu-Velo is not only related to the proper functioning of all the equipment, but also to the personal bond that links one to another., because it is not quantity that is sought but quality, and this is only possible if a solid foundation is created between parties.
