Founded in 2012, Artesana is a dairy producer located in Tecuci, in the Moldavian region of Romania. With a strong focus on quality and sustainability, the company has established itself as a leader in the dairy sector, specializing in yogurt, kefir, and sour cream.

 

Our brands Priamo, specializing in dairy process equipment, and Ave Technologies, specializing in ultra-clean filling technologies for the dairy sector – have provided a complete plant for the production of high-quality dairy products.

 

In an era where consumer attention to food quality is higher than ever, the Artesana facility stands out for its dedication to excellence. Every stage of the production process is designed to ensure that milk and its derivatives are not only unique in flavor but also healthy and safe.

 

From automated milk receiving to packaging, every step is carefully managed thanks to the advanced automation of the processing equipment. The milk cycle begins with a vacuum reception unit, a crucial stage that guarantees the highest product quality from the very beginning. The fresh milk comes from carefully selected local farmers committed to animal welfare and high standards of milking and collection.

Throughout the entire process, every phase is monitored to preserve freshness and quality, ensuring that only the best milk is used in Artesana’s production. Special attention is given to pasteurization, which is carried out using an advanced E.S.L. (Extended Shelf Life) system, allowing for a longer shelf life without altering the product’s flavor, nutritional properties, freshness, or original color.

 

Thanks to this innovative technology, Artesana can offer its customers milk with an authentic taste and unaltered organoleptic characteristics. Among the flagship products of the facility are yogurt and other fermented products, such as kefir and sour cream. The use of high-quality lactic cultures and state-of-the-art equipment ensures excellent products with a rich taste and perfect consistency.

 

The automatic milk processing equipment uses a sophisticated sterile air injection system in the fermentation tanks, precisely controlling the yogurt acidification process and preventing oxygen from promoting bacterial proliferation. This system not only improves the quality and flavor of fermented products but also enhances food safety. The result is creamy yogurt, rich in probiotics, with an unmistakable taste and a longer shelf life—perfect for the most discerning palates.

Quality control extends to the packaging phase as well, where Artesana has chosen AVE Technologies. The packaging line includes filling in glass bottles and cups of various sizes, a packaging choice appreciated by increasingly eco-conscious customers.
